I’m Jim Buzhardt, founder of Lave - cleaning has been my business for decades.

I started my first commercial cleaning company in Nashville in 1990 with a simple focus: great people delivering great service. Over the years, that company grew to clean more than 3 million square feet in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. In 2014, I successfully sold the business, I’m proud of the systems, team, and reputation we built along the way.

Today, I’m applying that same experience to a different challenge - STR cleaning.
​
The STR market has unique demands: tight turnarounds, unpredictable schedules, high guest expectations, and very little margin for error. Too often, owners are left dealing with missed details, unreliable cleaners (“no-shows”), and bad reviews that directly impact bookings and revenue. Lave was built to solve that problem.
This time around, we’re doing it smarter.

That’s why we go beyond cleaning. Lave acts as your eyes and ears when you can’t be there. If we see anything - cleaning-related or not - that could lead to a guest complaint or negative review, we report it immediately with photos so it can be addressed before the next guest arrives.
